Development
Development It often starts with an idea. Weißer + Grießhaber supports its customers in developing plastic components, assemblies, or complete systems ready for series production. We offer project-related services – from feasibility studies and design proposals to simulations, FEM analyses, and prototypes through to qualification and definition of the final production concept – as an experienced development partner.
Early involvement in the project enables us to contribute all competences in a targeted manner. We optimise parts for plastic-compatible production, reduce material usage and cycle times and thus increase efficiency and process reliability with our “design-to-cost” approach. We support our customers through all phases of product development and create functional, economical, and sustainable solutions, irrespective if they need installation space studies, calculation of gearings, or integration of new technologies
Tool and equipment construction
Our in-house toolmaking department forms the foundation for the production of high-precision plastic parts. Our designers, process planners, and mould makers work closely together to develop customised tool solutions – from pre-series to 96-cavity series tools. Efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and precision are at the focus.
